We had a 1950s themed wedding and this tea-length dress was the centerpiece of my whole look. The length is perfect—it hits right below the knee, allowing me to show off my vintage-style blue wedding shoes. The lace on the short sleeves and bodice is very fine and doesn't feel cheap at all. I love how the tulle skirt flares out; it has several layers so you don't even need a petticoat to get that classic "pouf" look. The transition from the lace bodice to the tulle skirt is very seamless and flattering on the waist. It’s also much lighter than a floor-length gown, which made it so much easier to greet guests and move around the tables. I did find that the zipper was a bit stiff at first, but a little bit of wax paper rubbed on it fixed it right up. This is the perfect dress for a whimsical, vintage-inspired bride who wants to dance the night away!
I used this for my bridal shower and everyone loved it. The tulle skirt has just the right amount of volume.
The lace sleeves are so sweet and the skirt is very "twirly."
Tea-length is so hard to find! This one is absolutely perfect and very retro.
