I was looking for a black dress that didn't look like every other bridesmaid gown, and this was it. The architectural fold at the top is stiff enough to stay up without constant adjusting, which is a huge relief for a strapless piece. I'm 5'6" and it hit right at my mid-calf, creating a very sophisticated silhouette. I did have to steam it upon arrival because the folds were a bit flat from the packaging, but once that was done, it looked like a designer piece. The zipper is sturdy and the interior lining makes it feel very comfortable against the skin. It’s rare to find a strapless dress that doesn’t slip down all night, but this one stayed perfectly in place through hours of dancing. I'll definitely be wearing this again for a cocktail party!
